Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gökmen Öztürk

Dr. Gökmen ÖZTÜRK earned his medical degree in Bursa in 1994. Following his graduation, he returned to Istanbul and began his professional medical career as a resident physician at Okmeydanı Training and Research Hospital.Upon successfully completing his residency training, he was appointed as a Specialist Doctor in 1998. By 2000, he continued his dedicated service at Okmeydanı Training and Research Hospital, rising to the position of Chief Assistant.Between 2000 and 2006, Dr. ÖZTÜRK relocated to the Black Sea region, where he served as a General Surgery Specialist and Deputy Chief Physician at Trabzon Fatih Regional Hospital. During this tenure in 2002, he achieved a significant medical milestone by successfully performing the region’s very first Laparoscopic Colon Resection, Laparoscopic Reflux Surgery, and Laparoscopic Inguinal Hernia Repair.Since 2006, Assoc. Prof. Gökmen ÖZTÜRK, MD, has been delivering high-quality surgical care at Medipol University and Nisa Hospital. In tandem with his clinical and academic roles, he is also an active affiliate of the MEDENLive Health Group.
